about the brand guide hub
A few things about the individual categories
Durability
In my experience, brand communication and especially brand documentation doesn't last forever. Things change. Therefore, it can of course happen that links no longer work.
Brand
Name of the company, country, city, university, organisation ...
Colors (only in the color view)
The colors serve to provide a rough overview of the colors used. They are not an exact representation as they are automatically scraped from the entry page, grouped and clustered. They are identified using an analysis tool - where I am proud to have helped develop it - from bakdata.
Fonts (only in the color view)
The font is created with the same tool, but is still in the testing stage at the moment.
Name
Name of the portal or design system. Mostly taken from the page title.
Short Description (only in the list view)
A brief description of the organisation's main activities.
Sender (only in the list view)
Rough categorisation according to:
- com = company
- gov = public administration
- edu = universities, schools, colleges
- org = organisation
Accessibility (only in the list view)
- closed = No access to brand content possible.
- open = access to brand content is possible. Please note that often only partial access is possible, as certain content is not publicly available for a variety of reasons (legal, communication strategy, licences). Examples: fonts, assets, office templates, tools
Language (only in the list view)
The obvious language, there always tends to be more than that.
System (deeper insights on tools & software)
A rough analysis via Wappalyzer and Whatcms.org. It's about getting a feeling of which systems are used. Download means that there is a page with perhaps a little information that quickly links to a PDF or ZIP. We do not (yet) link directly to PDFs.
Company Link (only in the list view)
The link to the organisation's main website.
Business Sector (only in the list view)
A few tags to describe the organisation
Operating Region (only in the list view)
The region in which the organisation is mainly active.
Stats
Here you can find a statistic overview of the individual columns.
